Sweet Dreams Retreat @ Lara, is a guesthouse which offers boutique, motel style, ensuite rooms, with private access and off street parking.
Relax on the deck and enjoy the tranquility, with sunlight filtering through the leaves of the magnificent walnut and fig trees in season and enjoy the birdsong, sip on a beverage while you watch the sun set, let go of your thoughts, be at one with your surrounds.
Rooms are cleaned with the delightful TriNature eco products.
These are also provided in the bathroom for you to experience while you stay.

Each room, has, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave & Fridge, Tea & Coffee making provisions are provided.
You will locate crockery and cutlery on shelves and in drawers.

Free WiFi is available.
Garden
Enjoy relaxing on the deck with your favourite beverage in one of the cozy chairs or the hammock provided.
We have many fruit trees and in season are happy to share some with you during your stay.
Housekeeping
We allow you your privacy!
Please ask if you have any requests, for longer stays, we will provide a change of towels and bed linen on a regular basis, not daily (unless requested for an additional small fee) as we are environmentally minded. Iron and board available upon request.
Parking
Off street parking is available to the right side of the house.

You Yangs
You Yangs Regional Park is part of an Aboriginal cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Wadawurrung People.
Magnificent views, bird life and a mecca for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers.
Kevin Hoffman Walk
Kevin Hoffman Walk is a scenic garden trail along the north-eastern bank of Hovells Creek in Lara, Victoria. The garden is planted with mostly Australian native plants, some locally indigenous. It is a garden for the community, maintained by volunteers.
Serendip Sanctuary
A little oasis on the fringe of Lara. Over 150 species of native birds which you can view up close from bird hides and aviaries throughout the Wildlife Walk. Many native animals also call Serendip home.
Lara Museum
The Lara Museum promotes the heritage and history of Lara and its surrounds by providing facilities for the keeping of items of interest related to Lara and its community.
